This is a fully enclosed bolt-on two piece tactical sure grip knob made of black powder coated alloy. It bolts to your plain sad looking factory knob. This is a convenient easy do it yourself project, and if in the future you want to go back to your regular bolt knob, just unscrew and you're done. Select which one you want; 1) Howa 1500 SA 2) Savage MK2 3) Tikka T1X Locktite is recommended on the screws and I have that listed separately.
